Drupa 2024, the leading trade fair with a unique charm

For our sector, 2024 can only be associated with a unique global event, Drupa! In fact, from May 28th to June 7th, Düsseldorf will be filled with companies, dealers and suppliers from the graphics sector, who for 11 days will interface with each other on the latest news in the sector, on the technologies developed and on the dynamics that concern not only Europe but the entire world.

We at Grafimec were also present as usual, and we can confirm the unique charm of the leading trade fair in the sector, the circuit of companies involved, the evolutions both in terms of market size and automation compared to the last edition held now 8 years ago due to the cancellation of the 2020 edition due to Covid.

Drupa stands for new approaches and technologies like no other trade fair. It is not only the largest, but also the most important global platform for our industry, because the entire printing and post-press industry comes together at this world-leading trade fair. It has been invaluable for generating contacts and the exchange of ideas with people from all continents and all areas of the industry has been extremely enriching and inspiring: No other place offers the opportunity to create so many new international contacts from all over the world in such a short period of time and in one place.

Over 1,600 exhibitors, distributed in 17 pavilions, with an estimated 170,000 visitors from all over the world: during our 4-day stay we managed to quickly go through all the pavilions, naturally stopping in those closest to us, where colleagues, customers, suppliers were present, and it was, as always, exciting to meet again outside of our or their company. It would have taken just as many days to analyze more deeply all the innovations of the market and to cultivate more deeply the relationships established in these days, but we still take home a lot of baggage from this edition too, full of new contacts, news, different points of view, and of course a wonderful experience from a personal, as well as professional, point of view.
